What it is
A chicken rotisserie roasts whole chickens on rotating spits inside a glass-fronted oven, giving golden skin and juicy meat, and it doubles as a display.
How it works
Gas burners or electric elements heat the chamber while spits rotate the birds continuously, basting them in their own juices. Rows of spits let you cook several birds at once.
How to use it in the kitchen
- 1
Preheat the rotisserie.
- 2
Season and load chickens on the spits.
- 3
Cook until the juices run clear and the skin is golden.
- 4
Remove and rest before serving.
